Our advanced French classes will help you reach this level where you have the ability to speak freely and spontaneously without looking for the right words when engaging in conversations. You will be able to handle most situations in any francophone country or with any francophone speaker, meaning you will also have a cultural understanding of the language, including humor and the subtleties of conversations between native speakers.

If your professional expectations involve France or any other francophone country, a level C1 could be essential for your career.

According to the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages), we can measure levels according to the following levels of proficiency:

A1 – Beginner
A2 – Elementary
B1 – Intermediate
B2 – Upper-intermediate
C1 – Advanced
C2 – Proficient

This means that if you want to reach an advanced level, you should work towards C1.

In our advanced French classes online, we focus on providing corrections during conversations. We guide you through various topics depending on your interests and needs, and we take notes to help you identify your mistakes. This is a highly effective method because it is rare to receive real-time corrections while speaking and to review them afterward. Expanding your vocabulary is, in fact, our key focus in advanced courses. We use materials that we carefully select to explore specific topics, such as humor, sports challenges, slang, and idioms. 

Naturally, we will also pinpoint any grammar rules you have yet to fully master. By listening to you during natural conversation, the tutor will note down mistakes that we will help you correct by reviewing targeted topics. For example, maybe you are unsure when to use “y” or “en,” or “qui” versus “que.” We won’t work through an entire grammar book, but instead, we will help you identify and refine specific points.
