I contacted Marion because my daughter wanted to learn French properly, there’s not enough spoken French at school and her confidence was low. Marion gave us Jasmine to work with. Jasmine was absolutely amazing at being patient, encouraging, coming up with hundreds of ideas of things to talk about when my daughter was was being silent and always remaining upbeat. We are now about six months in: their weekly, hour long conversations are now primarily in French, my daughter has lost all her fear, she got an 8 in her GCSE level exam a year ahead of schedule and is determined to improve further so she can do French A level. While the French she does at school is fine for learning vocab, grammar and so on, there is no substitute at all for making her speak French regularly. It’s been a transformative experience.
